Company Profile Based in Los Angeles, Vain Media ([login to view URL]) creates interactive products and games for corporate and entertainment brands. We make apps – lots of apps – for iPhone, Android, Facebook and many other platforms. We believe in putting the user first by building and designing clean, robust apps that help real people have fun, get more out of life, and share experiences with friends. Position Description We are looking for a contract software developer who can help us out on an hourly basis with an agile iOS/Android project. You should have experience with native iOS (obj-c), native Android (java), or both. The product will have a very refined, best-in-class user interface. The product will also connect with a webservice so you should be familiar with REST and JSON parsing. If interested, please provide examples of apps that you have worked on. Please provide store links to live apps if possible. We are looking for a candidate who can work with us in California time. It is important that you are available during our business hours for ongoing project communication.
