Hello, The YouTube video was very helpful in describing what you are looking for from the existing application. The core features of the app are a hard coded list of news feeds, allowing the user to select a feed to subscribe too, and then browse articles that the feed currently contains. It looks like the app is caching the articles for the user to browse offline. You also add the feature to delete currently subscribed feeds as well, and send news articles to friends. Finally, you have ads built in from the Apple Ad network. On Android, we can add additional actions to share articles on Facebook or Twitter. We can also consider a picture view of articles. Pulse RSS reader has the ability to display, similar to Flipboard, a picture view with headline text that looks like a smattering of articles. You'll also need to use Google Ads rather than Apple's. We could also source the article listing from a webservice. It's pretty trivial to add this so you don't need to hardcode. If you do want to hardcode, it's a simple XML file you can edit on your own in the future without need to hire someone, but you'll need the Google build tools. everything thats shown in the sample video not a big deal to me, infact i can even complete this in 2 days, because i worked 5 years only in android.
