Android Client Screen Blocking in Android 5.1.1+

This job is for an existing application. The application has a feature where certain screens can be blocked. This functionality doesn't work in android 5.1.1+ due to a deprecated API call ([login to view URL]()) that is no longer supported. We have the screens and the code needed to implement this feature. What we need is a developer to implement the blocking code and test on API level 10, 17, 19, 22 and 23. The code should determine the API level and act accordingly. We have chosen this small project to find a good developer we can have a long-term relationship with. This could easily turn into a well paying full time job for the right person. We have a lot of work that can be done on this app and have a few more we plan on rolling out soon. The right candidate should have: * good communication skills * be able to write simple and readable code * be available for ongoing work.
