Hi, With current capabilities of Cordova Media Plugin, it's impossible. I am planning to modify the media plugin: 1. Convert recordings from amr to wav: Use ffmpeg to make the conversion 2. Support pause recordings: Every pause will stop the recording and create a new wav file behind but the user won't notice that. When the user actually stops the recording, all wav files created before will be concatenated using ffmpeg again I have experience in using and customizing Cordova plugins.
