First the response to the points in the Project description 1) Almost 4 years. Not just hadoop / hbase but with mongo and some datagrids on top of it. 2) I can not disclose the because some of the meterial is confidential but can provide you automation scripts for installation. 3) Well to be honest this is a dry topic and requires dedication and deep knowledge of concepts so can be simplified upto a level. But making things work as expected and using it on predefined environment might benefit. During learning if things are working as expected it is big plus. 4) Installation, basic usage , Map reduce and and sample map reduce application. I'm a Postgraduate Student in Instituto Superior Técnico following the Erasmus Mundus Distributed Computing Course . Already have completed these concepts. We can have tutorials for configuring hadoop in Linux environment, Solving simple problems using map reduce like word counting and Anagram, And then we can ask for complex problems like analyzing log files. We can also cover some theoretical areas while covering these practical aspects. Note that I placed the 200$ bid considering you need the solutions for the problems as well.
