Database Linking/Optimization/Normalization/Restructuring

I'm pretty confident I can assist with this (my bid will give you 2 hours of my time for diagnosis and application of tweaks etc, spread out over how ever long is needed) however because you've given very little information in your spec I'm curious on a number of fronts: - What the actual data structure is like. - Whether or not you have shell access to the underlying system that the database runs on. - What symptoms you're seeing that make you think you need to optimise the database and not some other area of the system/site.
