ASP to HTML Converter & IIS check in PHP

Dynamic ASP to Static Converter in VB6 or ASP & IIS check in PHP Intro ------ We have a website that uses .ASP (first version on Win nt 4.x) The site uses about 25 pages for displaying the contents of the SQL database. Mainly products. Since there is an large increase in visitors and we do not want to upgrade hardware & software, we want a tool that enables us to create STATIC HTML pages for the most common pages/articles. These pages do not overload IIS and SQL server since they are static HTML and will be placed on a PHP/Linus server. Also sometimes the Nt IIS server crashes and we are not always aware that that happened. IIS check in PHP ---------------- There is no solution on the IIS part, besides upgrading. And we do not want that, so we just want to run an PHP-script on our PHP/LINUS server, inside a page, that checks if a URL responds in some seconds (NOT a PING please, cause the machine is still visible, but IIS crashed), if NOT it will go the static site in stead of the .ASP site. Dynamic ASP to Static Converter in VB6 or ASP --------------------------------------------- When we change the DB we want to select the pages (or articles) that we want to be Static and the tool must create those pages based on the contents of the created static HTML output from th ASP page call. (for example [login to view URL] --> [login to view URL]) We want a tool were we can select a range of products (say 100 till 100.000) input the full .ASP URL and the tool then call's for those pages and SAVES the STATIC version of that page on to disk with a unique name ([login to view URL] --> [login to view URL]) Obviously we will have to change the .ASP links inside the pages that refer to .ASP pages manually, but that's a thing will do ourselves.
