Hello to all, We need an ASP.NET 2.0 application that digitally signs license files using DSACryptoServiceProvider, and returns the digitally signed data in an xml format, via a Web Service. The ASP.NET application must expose an ASPX page, to allow users to sign license files without using the webservice. The data that will be submitted to the webservice/asp page contains the following fields: - application GUID - machine name - CAL licenses required - userID - application name - expiration date - license GUID The application will have to: - digitally sign the data, by using DSACryptoServiceProvider - do not use CSP containers - package the license in an XML format - store the application details into the database - store the base64 encoded digital signature into the database - store the encryption key in manifest; - the key is retrieved from the client as a packaged resource as an embedded resource - the digital signature can be omitted, creating a 'temporary' license The database model is described in the attached document. The application must work with ASP.NET 2.0, the database will be an Sql Server 2005 database. We can provide, if necessary an sql server. The content flow: 1. ASP.NET Web Application: • authentication o username o password o authenticated against db • generate key page o contains a form to collect details from the user o supply the same details that the web service expects o generates a file on the server, using the application GUID as a filename. Overwrite any existing file o shows link to download the generated file 2. Web service: • AuthenticateUser o retrieve uername and password o return authentication status • Create License o no unauthenticated access o receieve application details o return Xml data describing license Please post only if you have experience in working with cryptographic services and ASP.NET applications.
