Overview: We provide product catalogs of computer products to our distributors worldwide. Before the release of the catalog we seek the feedback of key distributors for any changes, improvements, etc. These distributors are located all over the world... the goal is to provide a common interface to review comments, post comments, and track who sent edit and what version of catalog it is for: >1. .cfm or .asp based app linked to our Intranet (Access DB) >2. Access for Managers and Directors. Comments from other employees funnel through their supervisors. >3. Ability to see all edits already posted. >4. Track who sent suggested edit, what version of catalog edit applies to, page #, barcode, time and date. >5. Provide area to comment on how edit (if applicable) will impact business. >6. Prompt readers with examples of common edits to use as style when writing theirs. >7. Edits are collected in a database. This will allow for sort /prioritization. >8. Product features and specification edits need to be addressed immediately (field to be selected for edit type). >9. All other edits are sorted/organized by admin removing duplicates and minor edits are applied by catalog staff immediately to existing General Catalog templates. ## Deliverables Flow: Initial login screen allowing for user or admin login. Upon user login the proper specific catalog feedback page is shown. The page includes a search box to allow search for barcodes and/or page number of existing feedback, a pre-populated field with the user’s name and date/time, a field to enter barcode, one for page number, a drop-down for type of feedback, and the comments field. The search for existing comments returns a listing showing barcode, page number, and the first x words of the comment made. Clicking on the comment show the whole feedback including name, time/date, barcode/page. Feedback by the user can be added, using feedback fields listed above (must track who made the comments and when). The admin login directs to a screen allowing to add new users, including first & last name, user ID, password, and catalog associated (since each user will have to be associated with a specific country catalog). The admin also accesses all feedback items, selecting first from the list of available catalogs (catalogs do not need to be added dynamically, can be hardcoded). The list of comments for each catalog will be sorted by page number or barcode, with the availability to search for specific page or barcode. High priority edits (as defined by the user using the dropdown in the feedback form) will be highlighted and shown first. The admin can mark edits as completed (which then shows for the user as such), as well as modify comments and delete them. High priority marked feedback items need to generate an e-mail alert to the admin(s). 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Coldfusion or MS ASP Broadcast message 10/27 We much appreciate your bid submissions.
