CONNECTION/CHECK DATA LINKS: Basically, website uses 2 or 3 global files to tell all asp pages where to locate the .mdb files with the raw site data. All .mdb files are stored in one directory. Due to a virus these global files were wiped. What I need is someone to rewrite the global files i.e. a file that creates the link from the .asp pages to the .mdb files. These files are global as in, each ASP page of the website has a link to the global root file e.g. [login to view URL] but does not itself contain the actual mappath (such as mappath /data/[login to view URL]). In addition, it would also help if the person could improve the effectiveness of some asp pages i.e. give advice on what kind of connection to use.
## Deliverables
1. to write 2 or 3 global connection files for ASP to .mdb 2. to check these global connection files work for the website as well as they should 3. to give advice on the type of connection used by some pages / systems and whether or not they are effective enough
## Platform
Windows 2000, ASP, Microsoft Acess 2000
