This should be a very straightforward project for anyone who has experience with ASP (vbscript) and SQL Server Dynamic Stored Procedures.
The coder must design and develop a fully functional product which enables users to run queries on a SQL table.
The coder should use regular expressions for data filtering (rather than slower methods) to increase performance.
In addition, all dynamic processing must happen on the backend; the ASP is only a visual front-end for what will be sent for processing on the backend server.
Next, the results should be placed into a folder entitled "queue" in the director where the script is running.
Further, using PHP or any .NET language you must then push the file which was just generated (as csv) into a ZIP file, and you must allow the user to download this ZIP file containing the compressed CSV.
Important: Pass the filename of the file generated as a parameter to the .NET or PHP page which should ONLY serve the purpose to compress and push the file to the user.
## Deliverables
Continuation of description:
The front-end ASP module of the application should contain a simple easy to use layout containing a list of all searchable fields. A searchable field is defined by a column name. Column names are limited and will be provided. There will be nothing in excess of 12 columns.
In addition, you must also give the user the ability to do a "filter" and provide values in "between" which the column values should fall into.
For example, if the user is searching a zip code field, the user might want to search for all zip codes which fall into range 0702N to 0702N (where N is a number the user may enter)
In conclusion, this should be a system which enables users to construct queries based on conditions which they provide in an environment containing a fixed amount of columns.
----------------------
Please provide a bid with and without the ZIP module (which is free).
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
