Develop unit and acceptance tests for a windows product

I’m looking for a developer / QA tester to create and conduct tests for a new product which monitors Internet network traffic. The work will contain the following tasks: - 1. Create a document proposing tests to be developed 2. Develop unit tests for the underlying COM component 3. Run unit tests and report issues for fixing 4. Develop functional tests for the main product 5. Run functional tests and report issues for fixing 6. When issues are found, you will be required to create a unit test to highlight the issue (if one does not already exist) 7. Testing the products installer/uninstaller 8. Other tasks that you think are necessary Ideally you will have access to conduct tests on the following operating systems: - Win98, WinNT, Win2K, WinXP, Win2003 The unit tests are to be developed first, starting with the most important functionality. You will need to run a test and report any issues highlighted as soon as the test is ready. Also, you may have to release the unit tests to the developer of the main product to highlight issues. The product writes data to into a simple database, and it is expected that the tests will read and verify the data stored there. The tests will need to store the results into a database for regression purposes. When bidding please could you: - 1. Provide information to which tools you have available for conducting the functional tests. 2. Please let me know if you have any experience with Junit or ComUnit etc. I will provide the full documentation of the product on request. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Win98, WinNT, Win2K, WinXP, Win2003
