I need a simple DirectPlay Netwroking shell for a 3D game. The game is being developed useing a game engine powered by C++ and simplified commands. The only thing the engine doesn't include is commands for DirectPlay. If you feel you need to, you can download a demo at [[login to view URL]][1] to help coding.
The shell needs to handle connections and movement of all players in the game (up to 20 players). I think it would be best if this shell was written as either a class or library that I can easily access from Vicual C++ and allow me to use simplified commands such as "NetworkSend(params)" and NetworkRecieve(params)" and I can control what info is sent to and from which machines.
