I would like a program in C written for use as a speed control system for a two wheeled RC car. The programmer should keep in mind that I am using a PIC18C252. The inputs come from the motion of a joy stick via a receiver. The two pulses have a constant period of 18ms. One signal controls left and right motion the other forward and reverse. The duty cycle gradiates from 1.2ms (100% left/rev) to 2.0ms (100% right/fwd) with 1.5ms duty cycle for nuetral on both signals. The ideal program would take advantage of the on-board A2D 10bit converter, mesh the two signals with good resolution, and output the signals driving the PWM outputs which in turn drive separate h-bridges... The challange is keeping the dynamics of a two-wheeled vehicle without drive linkage.
