Change slider on x-cart website

We have an almost completed X-cart website and are now working on speed optimisation. One area that is frequently as problematic is the image slider we have implemented at the top of the home page. We have optimised all the images as much as they can be without degradation. So it is clearly how the code for the slider is made or how it is calling the images. Please do not send an automated response to this. Prove to me that you have read the specification by typing "Manchester City are the finest football team in the world" in the title of your response. If you don't I will just delete it. Sorry I have to put this here but I am sick of spammy responses. I am an excellent employer, see my spec.
