We have been running this marketing activity in-house for more than 2 years, but want to expand by means of outside contractors. · Experience and capabilities required: o Understanding of the marketing process for internet book publishing. POD, Amazon, internet bookstores, offline bookstores, independents and chains. Preferable that bidder has experience in successful marketing and sales of online published books. o Skills including writing of press releases that get published to promote products and services. o Good written and verbal communications skills. Native US English speakers familiar with US markets, customs and terminology. o Extensive knowledge of MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and other software used in the publishing business. o Possess a “sales minded?? attitude…??Nothing happens until a sale is made!?? · Successful bidder must demonstrate a creative approach in responding to this bid request. This could include verifiable examples of successful marketing campaigns conducted, suggestions for additions, changes to the project, etc. · Bidders who only quote a price, but show NO imagination or initiative will be IGNORED. **· A detailed information file including the project content and suggested approaches will be sent to the “most promising?? prospective bidders via the RAC “private reply?? system.** · The successful bidder(s) may be invited to accept as many as 3-4 new marketing clients per month.
