Automatic password generator for PHP site

REQUIREMENT: Quick and easy project -- automatic password generator for Admin interface in creating new user accounts. Necessary components: Create password for teams (that is, particular users) entered by an Administrator. (Very simply, these team codes and passwords are used to access user accounts.) Password generator will be located on the ‘Teams’ page of the Admin interface (that is, the page where the Admin creates new teams). It will replace the older manual creation of team passwords when a new team is added to the system. To be as descriptive as possible, the manual system now works as follows: “To add a new team, please enter its Team Code and Password, then press **Next >>**??; that is, the administrator has to enter both the team code and team password, after which more detailed team information is added. In contrast, the requested feature will automatically create a new team password when a new team is entered (the team code and team information will still be entered manually by the Administrator using our current system; that is, we only require the password to be automatically generated by the application). Generated password must follow certain guidelines: i. It Cannot use the numbers 0 or 1. Nor can it include the characters l, i, or o. Generator must be written in such a way that allows (or disallows) characters to be easily changed within programming code at a later time ii. Password must be 6 characters long by default, with means to easily change this length within the code if needed. iii. Code must be clearly commented, including basic instructions on how to modify which numbers and letters are allowed within a password; all relevant code should also be marked in such a way that it may easily identified and taken from our testing website to our deployment site. We must require exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased; that is, code must be unconstrained by any licenses or user restrictions on our part.
