Custom Joomla Business Listing component

We need a component developed for Joomla CMS. The purpose of this component is to deliver business listings and advertising. The client has got a current website at [login to view URL] The structure will stay similar, but we will be replacing this site. A Website that has got something similar to what we need is [login to view URL] The navigation should go like: [Home Page - Select Region] -> [New Page - Select Category] -> [New page - Select subcategory] -> [New Page - List of Businesses with 1 photo per listing and a short intro text] -> [Click on More Details - brings up Business info page with full listing, more photos, contact email etc.] Some of the existing Joomla components like Marketplace Ads and AdsManager are half way there, but don't really do what the client needs. The features we will need: - Unlimited categories and listings - Listings sorted by Location first, then by trade category - Search feature - Listing in each category need to rotate so every listing gets equal exposure - Up to five photos in each listing - Each listing should have a section for "Intro text" (For the category page) and "full text" (For the full listing page itself) - Three featured listings options - where the client can select some of the businesses advertised and display them at front either on: -- Front Page or -- Region Page or -- Category page - Ability to send newsletters. - Set listing expiry date and get the system to email administrator when the listing is about to expire (say a month before expiry date) - Mass email feature: people will browse through certain category, on each listing there will be a tickbox for mass email and when they are finished, the can just go to the email form page and email all businesses they selected at once. This will let them email say 10 car painters at once. We will have to put some image verification on the form. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Joomla CMS, PHP, MySQL. Must work in IE5,6,7 and Firefox.
