Data Scrape Project

The long and short: I need a php script, which will goto a number of different websites, retrieve the web page, parse the data from the page, and insert it into SQL DB. Example: The SQL DB contains 10 web sites. Script will goto site 1, strip the data, enter into DB for this site. Script will goto site 2, strip the data, enter into DB for this site. Script will goto site 3, strip the data, enter into DB for this site. Etc. Each site has the same page layout. The data is stored between tags. Example: <name>My Product Name 1<price>1.00<item>GRT1<BR> <name>My Product Name 2<price>2.00<item>GRT2<BR> <name>My Product Name 3<price>3.00<item>GRT3<BR> Each site it visits, has the same tags, different data. More details available if needed. Looking to have this project completed ASAP. Thank you. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PHP v4.3 and SQL 4.0.25 - Running in a linux enviroment.
