Create flash swf or java demo showing progressive text hilighting

NOTE: If you have a suggestion on how to make this work by another means, other than swf,? let me know. DHTML was unsuccessful to achieve this look in past attempts so I am hoping swf will give a crisp clear, and fast text display. I would be open to any language(java script) that will create the effect I need on a website. I tried screen capturing the effect and converting to swf but the quality was very poor. --------------------- I need to create a series of flash videos that show scrolling text and hilighting effects. I want to load in an html file or text and? create a flash video that hilights words in sequence. When it reaches the end of the screen, it clears the screen and the next screen of text loads and is hilighted. There are settings to change the hilighting speed and the number of words hilighted(1 to 5). You can see an example of how the hilighting should look here <[login to view URL]>? Skip ahead to time 4:20 to see what the hilighting looks like. Also look at time 6:20 which shows how the settings should work. This can be a stand alone program or code that I use with macromedia8. Basically I want to create a demo swf I can put on a website that shows the hilighting like in the above video. This is not the full program shown above, all I need is the hilighted text portion in a box so that I can export it to swf. The program should allow me to set the number of words to be hilighted, 1 to 5, and the speed of the hilighting, from 50 to 2500 words per minute. Hilighting cannot cross between 2 lines(you cannot hilight 3 words at the end of one line and 2 words at the beginning of the next) and end of lines are already indicated by a BR html break so you can identify end of lines. Font size will be fixed and will not be changed. The window size is 423 pixels square, font size is 20px Times New Roman. Text is gray and hilight is indicated by the text turning black, then back to gray as the next set of words is hilighted. The background can be transparent(preferred) or I can just select one in the program along with the speed etc. Thanks and please let me know how you would create the program(language etc) ## Deliverables I am open to suggestions on the project. I think creating a final swf will be the most space efficient and fastest way to show text like this but you may have? a better idea.
