This project requires the development of a website (the "Site") that has a content-based section and a store.
The home page of the Site will have the following buttons: (i) Meet the Djs, (ii) Featured DJ, (iii) Explore the Styles, (iv) Store, (v) Contact, and (vi) Our Links.
By clicking on these buttons, the visitor will be able to access pages that contain photos and write-ups about various djs. He will also be able to listen to "sets" prepared by those djs, which will each contain roughly twelve songs in a streaming audio format. A listing of the songs in each set will be provided so that the visitor can click on a song title and buy it from the store. Also, the visitor will be able to read information about the various genres of music featured on the Site and will be able to access the djs by selecting a given genre.
By clicking the Store button, visitors will be able to purchase individual songs in a downloadable format. They will also be able to purchase vinyl records, clothing, and other miscellaneous items. (The store will be similar to the website www.edmdigital.com.)
Our team has already designed a tentative logo, home page, and general style/feel for the Site. We expect the hired coder to improve upon our ideas and to construct a site that smoothly unifies the two sections of the Site.
