Once a client logs in, a page wil be available to the client to add and NOT remove documents. They will be able to label the document with a a title. On the admin side, when you view a particular client, I'll add a easy to use listing (maybe in a tab? we'll play with it) of all the documents that client has uploaded.

iamhaymon, Do you want to add this uploading feature within a existing website? I have implemented a solution in my another project to upload file by Javascript FormData in any HTML5 supported browser, and for non HTML5 browser, I use a hidden iframe to complete upload, just like it does in HTML5 browser. As for the requirement about admin area. it would be easy, as the uploaded document should be always associated with the client ( I am assuming client can only upload file when they logged in), Just one question, as you mentioned 'Also the client should be able to name the file before they upload to software', do you want to rename the file before uploading it?
