blackberry - Push notification function

I have an application for android and blackberry. which works on both .. Ill give you the site link to download app in pmb I need to add push/notification feature on the frontpage of the app, following are the specs for the notifcation : 1, I want notification to be showed when we trigger it Its like sending an sms... All users that has app on their mobile phone.. will see a notification on their app like when you receive an sms or msg on facebook on blackberry phones the app(icon) shows users that there is a msg.. then they click and open the app 2, What we were thinking is having e message box pop up on the front page ... so lets say you get a notification you open the application... anto on the front page there will be a message box with some text and if possible an image... or multiple images.. or small member logo image 3,it should say whatever we want it to say we send a udp and the app will receive it this udp i guess could be html code and the text box can then display it Now answer me : how are u planning on making the tech/ are you just going to make an css page that fits a mobile screen ? the only way to do this i believe is through the webapp technology its where you write "web code" but its compiled an aplication thats what we will need to make the push tech happen but here is a link ..[login to view URL] they call it web aplication .. but you use libraries that are specific to the hardware you install it on ... but the interface can be displayed using html code yeah so the aplication would still need to reference the database ... wich i think can be done using ajax
