Create an 'order status' for my e-commerce software(repost)

Looking for a coder to create an "order status" for my e-commerce software. Currently there is no status information available. We'd like to be able to specify a few different statuses, **especially "pending", which will be an incomplete order**. Order statuses should be able to be changed manually, but also be changed automatically when events occur, such as a pending payment is completed. Some examples: 1. Customer places their order and uses 'Direct Deposit' to make their payment. 2. Order is 'pending' until their payment has been verified. 3. Once the store owner has received the payment, they manually change the order status to 'complete'. 1. Customer places their order and uses 'Defer payment' option. At the moment, this means that they do not pay anything up front, but make their payment when they have viewed and approved their proof. 2. Customer receives proof and clicks on 'Confirm payment' link, which allows them to resubmit their payment information and complete their order. This should *change the order status*, rather than creating a brand new order. 1. Customer goes through the checkout but does not complete their order. 2. Order appears in admin panel as "Incomplete", and store owner can view the contents of the cart and customer details. **Stock levels** should be affected as usual (i.e. stock is removed) for all Pending and Complete orders. Incomplete orders should not affect stock levels. **IMPORTANT** The checkout system is all AJAX, not individual pages. If a payment is deferred and needs to be completed later (Example 2), we would like to just send the customer to the payment option page, bypass the user information and shipping pages. I don't know how possible this is? Where Paypal is chosen as the payment option, orders should be marked as 'Complete' after payment has been made. Lots of work for great coders! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Needs to work in all major browers, WinXP/Vista/MacOSX. Software is written in PHP/Javascript/AJAX and uses a MySQL database. All software is hosted on a Linux server.
