Customize an existing Wordpress theme (PHP & CSS)

I am looking to correct an issue with SlideshowPro embeds in an existing wordpress theme. [login to view URL] PHP: The theme currently filters vimeo and youtube iframe embeds and places them in a separate column from the text of a single post, however it will not place SlideshowPro embeds (they are not embedded in iframes). I'd like it to handle SlideshowPro embeds the same way as iframe embeds. JQUERY & CSS: Some other things I'd like to do: • tweak the proportions so the comments column in a single post is not displayed, and the text spans two columns instead of one, or something along those lines • add endless scroll • add a header logo with fixed position • add an overlay "return to top" button - similar to this (but slightly different design): [login to view URL] • customize/embed font
