This posting is for long term project for customizing an open course application at [login to view URL] The project is based in php application using Javascript UI called bootrap 3. . Strong knowledge of PHP and Javascript is essential (bonus points for experience with MVC) . Its a fairly new open source project with limited documentation however support is available readily at [login to view URL] To qualify for bid selection all candidates must please complete challenge: -download and install latest copy of the application from [login to view URL] and add the following functionality. -- If more than 3 contact records are created, Display a user exception saying maximum contact limit has been reached. It is a very quick change and would give an idea how comfortable candidate is in making customization for the applications. The solution can be posted on [login to view URL] or sent as text file. OK this is my change - without loading up the whole project. class Contact extends \Espo\Core\ORM\Repositories\RDB public function save(Entity $entity) { if (parent::count() > 3) { throw new \Exception("Maximum contact limit has been reached"); } ... } However I have hesitations whether I should put this logic in the repository, or in a Model object? I tried to spot a model but to no avail - some may maitain that repositories are Models but I have my reservations. I've used quite a few PHP frameworks, some published some not, some quite handy some vague. Would be interesting to get my hands dirty on this EspoCRM.
