OSTicket New Features

Using the current beta 1.7 RC5 of OSticket Add the following 1. Customer Table and form Add a Customer table and a Tab on the Admin Panel for Customers Usual information - Name , address Phone email, GPS location When a ticket is created if the user has been logged before then the customer would be populated in the same way as the system looks up the email address or phone number Or an Admin person can tag a ticket to a customer 2. Customer Equipment and Forms Add a table for customer equipment with customer ID from above, purchase date, description, serial number , warranty expiry notes and links to manuals or other pdfs. Each ticket created can be linked to an equipment item for the selected customer. On the form for Equipment you would also be able to see any tickets which had been linked to that piece of equipment 3. Parts A table for Parts/Inventory - these parts would have a selling price, description , tax rate, - Parts could be linked or associated with equipment to allow for easy lookup. The parts would also include service items like labour rates Parts can be tagged to a ticket 4. Tickets can be marked as billable or warranty, billable tickets will use the parts /inventory used to calculate a charge and will have a dedicated invoice description section to allow for a clean input of the description to appear on the invoice The invoice would be printable into a pdf in a similar way to the ticket printout 5. Tickets When entering a ticket the user would also see on screen the customer list and search option and the equipment list and search option If the user enters a serial number it would search the equipment and if selected it would populate the equipment item into the ticket with the customer name 6. Responsive Layout Change the OSTicket layout to work with a responsive design to optimise the view on mobile and tablets We are looking to pre-qualify providers based on your equipment and sample you can provide of having customised OS Ticket We will review your detailed responses and decide on the next stage with the short list - on the 26th March
