The project will be a content sharing website where students from around the world will be able to submit study notes (summaries, answers to practice questions, etc) for other members to download and use. The idea is inspired by websites such as YouTube and will draw heavily from the features of these sites.
We expect this project to be implemented using a PHP website supported by an SQL database. Also the use of open source modules such as the following is encouraged:

Most of the website interface design, including the design of the website logo and most icons, has already been completed and is provided for Developer to use. Some pages have not been designed in detail; these pages will need to be partially designed by Developer, however some design guidelines have been provided.
In addition, some new functionality has been added since the design work was completed. This will result in the addition of some new pages and modifications to existing designs.
Refer to the attached website brief for more detail. The design files have not been provided at this stage; we will make them available, along with a detailed page-by-page specification, to prospective coders before we accept any bids.
