Access 97 - Email in PDF Format

Need to have an email routine that sends an Access97 report as an attachment in PDF format. It must work exactly as the [login to view URL] works with the output format as a .snp (Snapshot) file, only the attachment is a PDF document. It must not require the end users to have Acrobat or a printer designated as a PDFWriter, or any other dependencies. The routine must be able to run on a computer that only has MSAccess97 installed. Any .dll's or external calls must be clearly defined so as to be included in the deliverable setup routine. The routine needs to be executed from a single button press requiring no other intervention from the user except specifying the Report Name in a simple text box (no combo box needs to be populated, the target program already does this). Example: We have the target program written in Access97 that collects data on a company's employees. This program produces a report in Access97 that contains all the data collected. We need a method to allow the users to email this report as a PDF document. At present we have a single button labeled 'Email' the evokes the following code: [login to view URL] acSendReport, acFormatHTML ,"rptEmp" Access97 then brings up the client's email routine where the employee report is an attachment in HTML format. The client simply fills in the TO:, Subject; and Message and presses send. We require a routine that will mimic this exactly with the only difference being that the attachment is in PDF format. There should be no other steps or intervention required from the client. The clients that use this software do not have Adobe Acrobat installed and they do not want to have an additional printer (PDFWriter) on their systems. The requested routine must be self contained. The completed project must be an Access97 .mdb file that contains a single form with a single button labeled 'Email' and a single text box for the name of the report. All code behind forms and any modules must be included. The solution must be in code and not involve Macros or any Macro calls from inside Access. ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. Code should be documented. The completed project must be an Access97 .mdb file that contains a single form with a single button labeled 'Email' and a single text box for the name of the report. All code behind forms and any modules must be included. The solution must be in code and not involve Macros or any Macro calls from inside Access. The email call must work for all email programs, specifically Netscape and Outlook. It must function like the built in SendObject command and use the default email on any computer. The deliverable must work exactly as described in the Description Section above. ## Platform Program must be an Access97 .mdb file Must run in Windows95, 98, ME, XP, NT and 2000 Must be able to use any email package, including but not limited to Netscape Communicator and MS Outlook.
