It needs to use a modular system so that new deal sites and cities can be added easily. The system also needs to support multiple language translations and currencies, and it needs to coordinate deal retrieval and subscriber mailings according to each city’s time zone around the world. While other deal aggregated websites cover only a limited number of cities and sites in one or two countries, This site needs to be designed to be a comprehensive resource covering all deals and cities worldwide. User experience: When a user comes to the site, their location needs to be automatically determined from their IP address. Based on this IP, the deals for their city are automatically shown to them. The user will signup to receive daily emails for deals in their city or buy it from site. Deals can be for a number of items including restaurants, bars, spas, and activities to name a few. The daily email automatically picks up the deals from the website and includes them in the email. The user clicks on a deal and then buys it from the originating deal site. No transactions actually happen on the site. The site needs to have Facebook and Twitter integration so visitors can virally spread each deal through their Facebook news feed or share with their followers on Twitter. Business readiness - extras: 1) Affiliate sales - e.g. Groupon offer affiliate programs so when one of your users buys a deal you get a cut of the sale including future sales.
