Company Website Template

Looking for a website template/layout for the new re-design of our company website.? It should (obviously)? look professional, but not "stuffy."? We have ideas on possible layouts, and examples of some that we like, but are happy to be surprised with new ideas. ## Deliverables There are two pages as part of this template, a main page and a second page, that for lack of a better name we will call a "detail" page. The main page should have a background image.? This can be as simple as one color fading from either edge of the screen to another color in the middle or as complex as a full-blown scene in 1920x1080 or higher resolution. The main page should also have room for our company name and logo at the top.? Below that should be a menu bar and member login area. Underneath this should be the main body of the page.? This will be broken into several sub-headers each containing several small items.? The sub-headers should visually group the contained items in such a way that it is intiutive which items are in which sub-header. The small items under the sub-headers should each have a small image (50-80 pixels square), a title, and? room for a short description (50-120 characters).? Examples of these smallest items include links to information, news, and/or games pages and also links to other sites. The whole page should be color-themed and use 1-2 main colors throughout the page.? These can be at varying shades to produce contrast, but should produce a visual theme to the site that is eye-catching but not blinding or stressful to the eyes. The second "detail" page should be mostly the same as the main page.? It will have the same background image, the same area for our company name and logo, the same menu bar and login area, and will also have a main body area. Unlike the main page, the main body of this page will not be separated into separate sub-headers.? It will still need room for a title, with a short description beneath.? It should also have room for a small image (again, 50-80 pixels square) that reminds the user what page/topic they are viewing.? The main details will be inserted beneath the description, and will be at least 8-10 paragraphs long, possibly much longer. The details page should also match the color theme-used in the main page, keeping the coloring identical where possible. It is expected that the body of both pages will be colored such that text we put into the appropriate spaces is easily readable.? Further, it is expected that all aspects of the pages are re-sizable such that we can add items as needed.? For instance, the bodies of the pages should not be of a fixed-height bu instead can be resized downwards to fit content.? Also, the menu bar should be done in such a way that we can add and remove items of varying lengths as needed.? Similarly, we should be able to add as many sub-headers on the main page as necessary and should be add as many items to each sub-header as we require. Attached are three examples of sites using layouts similar to what we expect, along with a short text file detailing things we like and dislike about each site.
