redirect to a page after downloading a file

In my SiteController I have an action activated by a button in a view that downloads a jar file to the user's device. I want to navigate to another page once this is complete, but when I insert the redirect code I get an error from the Java virtual machine launcher (I don't get the error if I don't attempt to redirect). I'd like the code fixed to enable navigation from the current view once the button is clicked.

Hi there, Give the sequence of events/user interactions workflow this may be/may not be feasible .Would you mind discussing the workflow ? Let me know when you are available . It could be just re-ordering the sequence of operations or have handle it in a hacky way. Regards sakhunzai
