Automated vehicle Control System.
For Mining and Construction. We are looking to develop a system where, once a vehicle enters a certain “Marked “area that a signal is sent out to the driver telling him he is within a restricted, hazardous, end of ground or slow go Area.
NOTE: No antennas are allowed to be put on site and should only work from site.
!!!Please refer to the “Safemine” system to get the look and feel of what we want. The system will have more options and will have to be designed accordingly!!!!
The system will be used to:
Warn Drivers within Hazardous areas (light or alarm), slow go Areas or intersections eg. Personal Walkways.
Automatically reduce speed when in certain location.
Access control –
Automatically open Boom gates for Vehicles and Auto Log movement.
More compact Versions to be used on staff to monitor their movement and restrict and warn them.
End of Ground Notification – By geofencing, when vehicle get too close to end of ground on open cast mines the vehicle get a warning or even “autobreaks” after certain time warned.
Vehicles must communicate with each other for proximity warning. (REFER TO SAFEMINE SYSTEM)
Vehicles must also communicate with personnel and must be told of their proximity.
Issues faced with development.
Accuracy has to be within 1 meter – Accurance very important due to safety issues – Possible use of GIS technology and not conventional GPS
Although majority of the time vehicles will me “outside” on some sites the vehicles will enter buildings. Prior to the entry of the “Building” the signal must be sent to the unit and must stay on until the vehicle leaves the building. Even if the unit loses GPS signal unless it is actually left the building the signal must stay on. - Possible solution; Have a IN/OUT command. Meaning; when the vehicle enters the “GeoFence” before the Geofenced Building (Building 800meter sometimes) the signal is sent and the signal will “Stay Put” until it leaves the building and the signal will only then Switch of when it exits the “Geofence”.
The buildings will be highly magnetic (EMF) as some of the buildings will be Smelters
No Antennas, Nodes or other forms of “communication” is allowed to be placed on site and must be run from vehicle itself only.
The unit must have be similar in Size of the (SAFEMINE system) with addition lights for the other functions.
Must be able the draw and shape of fencing. Overlapping fencing does not work.
Urgent
The Project is large and we are not only looking for development but also a Long term partner. Someone that is willing to join us from time to time. We currently have an “order” for 50 units and although still to be creased out. We also are offering a 1% Nett Profit share (depending costof the first order. We are then looking on contract basis to even on permanent employment.
This project is coming for some time, we have “invested” and lost with many companies over the years and we want it right.
We are serious and committed in this relationship and am looking forward in taking the relationship further.
