Hello, Thank you for the invitation to your project. In this instance, I would propose the expert services of my colleague Greg Anderson who is an experience organic chemist of some 30 years. Greg obtained a Hons degree in Medicinal Chemistry from University of Minnesota and owned and operated a specialist product formulation & development lab in Oregon called McBain Laboratories. Greg currently resides in New Zealand and has a synthesis lab for his ongoing research work. He is currently preparing various prodrug fomulations of Norbormide for evaluation by a commercial company. Talking to Greg this morning about your project, (we are happy to sign an NDA) , he is very keen to learn more and commented that some Nootropic compounds (by comparison to steriods) may not be that easy to create a pro-drug eg. Modafinil. He suggested that he could make a preliminary assessment of the feasibility if he knew the target compound(s). For instance I have no lab or analysis equipment. So if that is a requirement then I can't do it.
