As you may already know from my resume, my background is in Product Development and Release Engineering. I have worked as a Senior Software Developer, Engineer, Release Engineer, Lead Developer, and other roles; at firms such as Yahoo, Gap and HP, crossing multiple functions. One of the Ruby projects I am currently maintaining is an internal Jenkins job/test generator for Terracotta. Another Ruby project is a web front end running on Rails which allows QA and field engineers to easily find and download release kits. Also, I've been working 90% remote for the past year, so I am very familiar with working in a geographically distributed team, and the communication and scheduling challenges this can present.
