I need someone who are proficient in debugging and patching software to help me with fixing up an 5 year old POS software. I have the installer executable, not exactly know how the setup works, but it uses ms sql server 7.0 as backend database. I need your help in patching the software so licensing is no longer an issue, and I can install it on newer machines, restore database content and start using the pos system. I know licensing utilizes network card mac id. If you are proficient in debuggers, disassembler, hex editing, etc, please IM me for a chat see if we can do the project together. You will need to provide me a patch for the software on Win XP, and Win7 that I can use with no limitations. Thank you for your interests in doing this project.

I'm a software engineer with 30+ years experience, and debugging is by far what I'm best at. I have in the past participated in cracking software that used a dongle for licensing verification. That's different from what you need, but I'm very familiar with all the tools needed to accomplish what you want.
