The aim of the project is to detect abnormal breath signals from patients. The data will either be read from the patient to ADC or from the SD card. It will then undergo FFT and STFT algorithm and display the spectrum on the LCD screen.

Dear sir, I am a professional embedded audio developer with more than 3 years experience on spectral processing audio dsp algorithms. I have ported to numerous target platforms complex frequency domain signal processing algorithms, both real time and non real time. I also have experience working with stm32 arm microcontrollers as i currently work on a space mission embedded device where all the cpus used are stm32f4 and stm32l1 for the critical low power subsystems. I prefer using eclipse with gcc and i prefer using cube hal as the system drivers library. I also have already availiable the development board you are also using. A simple spectrum scope is a task that i can easily design develop and explain in a short amount of time especially if no realtime requirements are needed which seems to be the case for your project. I will be availiable from september 1st as i have a few other projects to complete till that time, but your project is of great interest to me and i ll be more than happy to assist you in accomplishing your goal in time.
