We divide the project in 2 milestones that is 50% cost of the project as first milestone , and 50% as 2nd and final milestone, Please remember that milestone is an amount which you don't have to release, it stays with the freelancer/elance team,its neither with you and nor with me, its like money with the 3rd party.
