We require someone to undertake the bluetooth programming aspect of a project we are building. The project will be written entirely in VB.NET and we will require all the VB.NET source code delivered on completion. Our requirement is to have VB.NET code that will be able to send a graphic (.jgp / .gif) file or a text file (.txt) over a bluetooth connection to a bluetooth equipped mobile phone. The transfer must NOT require the PC and the phone to be "paired" the software should attempt to deliver the file and if the phone user accepts then the file will be transferred. The program should detect bluetooth enabled phones in range and give a list of devices that the user can select from. The bluetooth stack used should be the widcomm one and NOT the microsoft one.
