Cartoon Drawing for home page of new college website

The drawing is to symbolize a student sleeping through (skipping) class. I want it to look funny (students hand hanging off his bed…possibly drooling). Please look at this picture for reference of what I want it to look like: I'm not asking you to draw this exactly as it is in the picture as it will be in some way copyright infringement. I would like the drawing to have the same angle as the picture attached. Desk under the bed, laptop, clothes everywhere, sport equipment, and anything else you think should be added to give a dorm room feel. I want it to be a cartoon in a "Family Guy" style. I want the character (student) in the drawing to have blonde hair and spiked up. I have him pictured looking like a surfer.
