I have a website based in Los Angeles area which offer an online peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling used cars( similar model with [login to view URL]). However, I found some of my customers( mostly international students) will leave their cars for us to sell, because they have to leave the USA if they can't find a job after graduation. So I am thinking about " Can I rented out the cars while selling them?" There are several reasons and considerations: 1. I will need to get permissions from the sellers first 2. Will the renting affect the selling? 3. I charger 5% commission of the selling price if I sell the car, how much commission should I charge for renting? 4. Pricing for the car rental? ( compare with traditional car rental company Hertz etc. and new trend Peer to peer rental [login to view URL]) 5. How's Los Angeles car rental market? Cost of Commercial insurance for rental and license? 6. At last , is it worth doing it? estimate will the car rental improve our profit (rental + saving on parking - risk of damage of the cars >0?) Any other considerations? Answer the questions and do some basic research on market, make it a business plan. Just a rough draft, I will do my own and I will take this as a reference. And if need more information just ask me.

I've been incubating business's for about 10 years and part of that is drawing up business plans. Also if you are happy with the outcome of the research and the draft documents, I would be happy to look into incubating your project via skype calls and emails.
