Hello, i am an electronics engineer with the experience over 5 years. I read your project description and the other materials you have uploaded. I have worked with ATMEGA 328P chip with the UNO development board and and using the bare chip as well. I have a good understanding about the how the chip works and its limits. Another thing that you need to be concerned about is the switch debouncing time. and the filtering process of the digital potentiometer. These are required for accurate working of the system.
