OpenCV EXPERT. I've been developing algorithms in OpenCV for 8 years. I currently have the latest 3.4.2 build that I compiled from source on my computer. In addition to the algorithm you requested I can provide a Qt UI for viewing the results if needed. This looks like a difficult problem because of all the noise in the image that could be detected as false positives. I would first try using Hough lines and Harris corners, first to find the field, then verify the detected corners are within the field. There's also going to be some false positives found on the players, so there will be some more work rejecting those.
