Animation series writers

Hello there! I have worked as a screenwriter for children's animated TV for the past year. Before that I wrote a feature length screenplay for an animated film as my dissertation. I have written many scripts for the same kind of short form animation and style that your project is in. I worked on two shows, entitled Squigglemajig and Like Lerato for Bubblegum, a Cape Town based animation studio. Moreover, I am from a Muslim family and understand the intricacies of different schools of study, including Quran, hadeeths and shariah law. I am excellent at translating ideas and lessons into an entertaining story for children, so that they have fun while they learn. Hi one4kids, I would love to be involved with your animation series as the writer and am confident I can bring the skills you are looking for. Please see my portfolio for samples of my scriptwriting work which includes storylining, voice-overs and dialogue exchanges. These I hope will give a good indication of what I can do and also give a flavour of the light-hearted tone I can adopt. I am very good at following specific briefs but equally adept at taking ideas and creating new ones to fit the given concept. I have worked on children's stories in the past as a ghostwriter, but for copyright reasons cannot include them in my portfolio. My fee includes providing a first draft of a 5 minute script and also re-drafting until you are completely satisfied with the finished script.
