The Accounting Assistant will play a critical role in the long term success of the team and will be responsible for assisting with all administrative and accounting functions of multiple related companies, while working alongside the Partner and Managers on the project. The position will also be given the opportunity to grow and develop within the Company by gaining the necessary experience over time. The duties for this position may include: • Accurately track and manage all payables for various clients at any given point • Accurately track and manage all credit cards for multiple related companies • Consistently manage cash by conducting periodic bank reconciliations within the accounting software, while maintaining an internal cash management worksheet so that cash can be managed proactively. • Actively assist with the administrative and operating function of the payroll division for the related parties • Thoroughly review employee files to ensure accuracy of information and compliance • Participate in other accounting / administrative functions for the related parties To be successful in this position, the individual would need to possess the following characteristics: • 2 years of Accounting experience -- ideally in a fast paced environment (Preferable, Not Required) • Experience with Microsoft Office & Quickbooks • Ability to periodically travel to site-visits w/ client • Effective communicator at all levels of an organization • Professional appearance and demeanor • Exceptional time management skills • Willing to take the lead on various projects and execute them according to the desired results For individuals with these requirements, this positions offers at a minimum: • Competitive salary, performance pay program, health benefits • Opportunity to impact the success and growth of our clients • Opportunity to work with an outgoing and energetic group of individuals that are motivated to make a difference in the small business community
