Dear Freelancers, I am Nourhan Zaki from Eurabic Translations’ Recruiting Team. I am contacting you to inquire whether you would be interested in joining our TV Data Audio Transcription project. Our client has assigned thousands of hours of audio that need to be transcribed by the end of September. The language of the audios is Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Dutch. The project consists of transcribing TV data (TV shows, interviews, etc.) inserting tags when necessary. A training is provided and no previous experience or specific qualifications are required. If you are interested, we would kindly ask you to undergo an online training with us and certification to be approved to the project. The time it takes to transcribe each audio varies a lot, though an average range would be 5-7 hours of work. The more experience you have, the faster you get so the best scenario is working with resources that can stay in the project longer term. If you believe you might be able to help us with this, kindly reply to this email and let us know your transcription rate per audio minute in USD. Hello, I feel that I would be a good fit for this project as I speak both Swedish and English at a native level, due to being raised with both languages, making me able to easily communicate with the employer as well as being able to easily transcribe what I hear in Swedish. hello. I am placing a low bit since I am a beginner on this platform. I am a native swedish speaker living in Sweden and writing is what I aspire to live on, someday. I am also fluent in finnish as my parents come from Finland and have taught me the language. Swedish is still my first language and I have a very good understanding of idioms and sayings that should not be translatet word for word, instead they should be translatet through a "cultural filter". Honestly, my finnish skills are not as good regarding this. I know the words and grammar, but are not in touch with the cultural sayings and double meanings. Hello, I am a native Swedish speaker with a solid experience in transcription in both Swedish and English. I have been a freelancer for 13 years and can produce work of very high quality. My rate per transcribed audio minute (not per minute worked) is 1.99 USD including proofreading/ listening. This works out to about 12-14 USD per worked hour depending on the quality of the audio. I can dedicate a lot of time to make sure that you have your project finished when you need it. Hi there, I am a Danish national, and am fluent in Danish and English, so I would be able to contribute to your Danish audio transcriptions. Most of my freelancing experience has been Danish - English and English - Danish translations, but I also have some previous experience in transcribing Danish audio to text. I would be able to start immediately, and would be able to devote long-term to your project, after completing the training. I am not certain of the audio quality of the files I would be transcribing, but to make a rough estimate, I would most likely be able to do it for $1.5 - $3 per audio minute of Danish transcription.
