The project is to design a boost converter circuit and analysis report, with high efficiencies. They need to have reasonably low costs of components for specification given. I need to design a voltage controller in PSim for 6 converters where the controller parameters are checked , analyze , tuned and chosen. Matlab, Matlab toolboxes and or simulink should be used for this process.
There should be closed loop voltage control design (where necessary, with PI blocks, limiters, filters, comparators, voltage sensors, voltmeters, ammeters etc.) with reasons for block use and analysis on Control design. The circuit should simulate correctly with minimal ripple and smooth outputs. For the control design, where necessary, please include a Vreferecnce, error summer, pi block, limiter and the gating signal should be appropriate with the reason for choice. I require a transfer function for the controller and converter with variable descriptions and component relation to variables in transfer function.
Topologies provided as attachments 7 of them. Use these specifications, Specification 1: P=1MW; Vin = 20kV; Vout=50kV. 2-5kHZ is an example of the switching frequency that can be used for this converter unless discussed other idea with myself . Design the converters for OPTIMUM efficiency and show calculation overall efficiency with Pin and Pout Values; also design for lowest losses with reason for use of components and how they increase efficiency of reduce losses.
I'm trying to do an investigation looking at installed power in the semiconductors, size of passive components, evaluation of losses in semiconductors, losses in magnetic components and overall efficiency (so I need all these results with calculations, equations and reasons for use).
Require files to be saved in PSIM 9.0. If you require reference papers for assistance, I can attach them as well. Need completion in 1 day, maximum. and a start as soon as possible. The figures should be saved in the analysis as printed files not screen shots as enlarging will reduce the quality of the image.
I have completed the circuits and need to check for optimum efficiency and output and operation. I require the equations to be laid out in the format shown in the template.
PSIM and Matlab to be used.
