Fill in a Spreadsheet with Data

Mount Royal University Pilot Project • For this project, I need to collect data from The Mount Royal University bookstore website and have it formatted into a spread sheet. • For each book I want to know the Course number, Textbook name, ISBN number, price new, price used (if applicable). Round to the nearest whole unit • Ignore the following books and do not record their data: o All books with a new price of less than $70 o All books authored by “MRU Print” o All books that are “optional” or “additional material” o All books sold with an online component, this could be identified with “My_________lab” “Etext” “Wileyplus” Instructions What I have found is the easiest access to data is as follows 1. Go on the website [login to view URL] 2. With Mount Royal University and Fall 2015 selected in the box “Find Your Course”, Select a department 3. Click on a course 4. Click on each section to add it to your right sidebar 5. Complete steps 3 and 4 for all courses in that department 6. Right-Click “Choose books” and open in a new tab 7. In this new tab, click on “Print Details only” and you will receive all the required information including ISBN 8. Transfer the required data as stipulated above to Excel either manually or automatically 9. Repeat as necessary until all courses are entered 10. Please format the data to look as it does in the example spread sheet. 11. Please check for accuracy This is the first of a series of data entry projects I need for my business. If I am pleased with the result, I will continue to use you/your company. I would like periodic reports on progress and would like this to be done quickly and efficiently. I am not concerned about what method you use to transfer the data so long as it is accurate and meets the above conditions.
