Social Media Marketing

Job Summary The purpose of this position is to grow Bridging The Gap of Georgia through effective web and social media marketing to include radio and other broadcasting opportunities. Work Performed • Develop and implement social media marketing strategies. • Write copy to best position BTGG. Copy should be submitted for review to Deputy Director and effectively dissemination information to various relevant audiences in interesting and understandable ways, with an emphasis on using social media tools. • Optimize the website and content to achieve search engine ranking goals. • Ensure website content is up-to-date, generation of new materials and traffic generating initiatives. • Update/manage/modify various existing websites and social media profiles. • Coordinate public relations and blogger outreach to achieve at least one press mention per month. • Manage and produce email marketing campaigns utilizing Constant Contact • Write eNewsletters, marketing emails, donor responses, advertisements, etc. • Manage the BTGG media lists in BTGG platform. • Maintain department collateral in content management database to ensure all marketing materials and media presentations are updated and current. • Create approved content for the BTG blog, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and e-newsletters, including writing and photo manipulation. • Implements news campaigns by developing and disseminating news releases • Track key metrics of all marketing activities and prepare reports to management in order to improve and refine tactics. • Coordinate projects with programmers, designers, photographers and public relations personnel. • Research leads and contact them to grow web based banner and social media partnered sales. • Track competitors and use information to assist Deputy Director and the BTGG team with tactical response. • Assure all contacts are properly entered and stored in BTGG database systems. • Coordinate blog talk shows to include creating and maintain a content schedule with a minimum of 3-months content pre-scheduled/pre-developed. This task is under the direction and collaboration of the Executive Director. • Other duties as needed to assist the Development & Marketing team • Coordinate production of new web designs with a graphic designer/coder or Deputy Director • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and marketing best practices. • Other relevant duties as assigned by Executive Director • Adhere to the policies set-forth in the BTGG Team Handbook
