CHARITY PERKS PROPOSAL

Charity Perks is a business that has been created for the online and mobile marketplace that matches volunteers to small, medium charities and community-based projects that need support. Volunteers will be offered the chance to receive perks such as discount vouchers on products from shops within the local community when they accomplish a charitable deed. This can be from volunteering in a local soup kitchen, offering to deliver food to a shelter or running a half or full marathon for a charity. Charity Perks will offer opportunities to support charities and community-based projects by volunteering, fundraising or donating. The platform will also host business partners who help to incentivise action through their offers and perks. In summary, the Charity Perks platform aims to: 1. Connect 2. Raise awareness 3. Inspire I have currently created, designed and developed a landing page that outlines what my service offers [login to view URL] with around 40 people already registered. I have had a lot of interest from charities. At the moment I have been on the Hatch Enterprise program for social enterprises and pitched my idea last month. Looking for an experienced back end developer that is able to add a gift certificate plugin to my landing page so that I can offer people that have already signed up a voucher. Must be experience in Wordpress . The overall aim of the site is to reward volunteers vouchers once they complete a charitable deed for a charity.
